Nintendo has always been a widely acknowledged brand for handheld gaming consoles. In fact Wii is already a category upon itself. When it was first released in the market it became such a huge sensation and now people are getting more excited each time a new generation Wii is released.
The latest to hit the markets is the Wii U, which is set to be released on 2012. Nintendo officials haven’t pinned down the exact Wii U Release Date yet, which makes the waiting all the more exciting. What the company is doing now is peppering the public with tantalizing tidbits about the console’s new features.
Wii fans can still expect to enjoy the same easy gaming interface with its portable and comfortably light controller. It is not yet confirmed if the 6.2 inch is touch screen will be a multi-touch, but they already states that it will still come with its own stylus pen.
Interestingly enough, the buttons on the controller are now almost twice as many as the former model. Some may think this will only make gaming more complicated, but avid gamers will be able to appreciate it if there are buttons dedicated for particular moves that are common when playing Wii.
As for the graphics of the Wii U, the only official information released is that it has an 1080p output. Fans are hoping of course that the resolution will be an even better improvement from its former counterpart.
The gadget will also come with a number of very popular games and software like the New Super Mario Brothers, Darksiders II, Tekken and Aliens Colonial Marines to name a few.
